Investing in guidance means investing in the future of new generations...

Lafert is making a significant commitment to corporate responsibility, with a particular focus on educational orienteering. From May 2024 to today, we have intensified our initiatives, engaging well over 100 students from all levels of education: from secondary schools to higher institutions and universities.

Through a series of structured pathways and an increasing number of meetings and company visits, we are dedicated to providing these young people with a concrete and in-depth view of the world of work. The objective is double: to give them firsthand experience of the dynamics and needs of the industrial sector and to illustrate the various and exciting career opportunities that this sector can offer. These initiatives, which see us as active participants in the community, clearly and tangibly reflect the company's willingness to contribute significantly. These initiatives, which see us as active protagonists in the territory, clearly and tangibly reflect the company's willingness to contribute significantly to the growth and development of the community. Investing in guidance means investing in the future of new generations, providing them with the tools and knowledge necessary to make informed choices and prepare themselves for their professional paths.

Orienteering for Middle Schools and High Schools

Our approach to guidance is structured as a collaborative model between school and business, based on direct experience, knowledge sharing, and a strong sense of social responsibility. In particular, the numerous activities have involved the Schiavinato Middle School in San Donà di Piave, the Don Bosco Vocational Training Center in San Donà, the ITIS Volterra, the ITIS Leonardo Da Vinci in Portogruaro, and the IPSSIA Mattei in San Stino.

The activity plan of Lafert dedicated to young students in the area is based on a well-defined strategy aimed at providing a meaningful and educational experience. The central goal of every initiative has always been to support students in choosing their future path. A distinctive aspect is the opportunity offered to students to conduct direct interviews with various professionals working in the company. This immersive methodology allows young people to go beyond theory, discovering in the field the daily activities, responsibilities, and skills required by each role. It is not just a simple lecture, but an active dialogue that facilitates a real understanding of the working world.

To complete this concrete vision, each appointment included a thorough visit to the production plant. Physically entering the spaces where theory translates into practice, observing the machinery, processes, and people at work, is a unique experience. It allows the students to directly engage with the industrial environment and connect the knowledge gained with the operational reality. The direct involvement of Lafert staff, with testimonies and guidance provided by company professionals, was of crucial importance.

Orienteering for 5th Grade Classes and University

We have promoted several professional orientation initiatives for students very close to entering the workforce, shifting the focus to a direct presentation of the company and its professional opportunities. These events represent an evolution of Lafert's commitment to guidance, moving from a general exploration of the job market to a more direct and targeted exploration of specific professional opportunities within the company. It is a proactive strategy to accompany, attract, and prepare the talents of tomorrow, which has involved the ITIS Leonardo Da Vinci in Portogruaro, the ITIS Scarpa in Motta di Livenza, the University of Udine, the University of Trieste, and the University of Padua.

Meetings with universities have focused more on the required professional profiles and the necessary skills, positioning us as a bridge between the academic path and professional opportunities at Lafert. We did not limit ourselves to showing how a company operates but focused on which professional figures work there and what skills are essential for entering the job market.

A key element of each meeting was the clear and detailed company presentation. Whether in a classroom or at a Career Day, Lafert is committed to conveying its identity: its history, the values that guide it, its mission, and its position in the market. But the most distinctive aspect is undoubtedly the explicit attention to the sought-after profiles and the required skills. This direct approach is valuable for students, as it allows them to align their educational choices with the real needs of the job market, increasing their chances of success.

The goal was to intercept young people who are in a crucial phase of transition, close to graduating from high school or college, and actively help them in career orientation or in searching for concrete opportunities. Lafert positions itself in these contexts as a potential employer, ready to meet and encourage future talents.
